Every collection starts somewhere — a piece of Portuguese history, a painting, a place, a memory, or a detail far too interesting to leave alone. Then we turn it into something worth wearing. The house itself was born from an unlikely mix.
More than a decade in global technology taught our founder how ideas are built, challenged and pushed forward. Art came from somewhere closer to home: her grandfather, José António Flores, was a painter, and his creative legacy became part of the foundation of Maison de Flores. So we look backwards and forwards at the same time. We care about craftsmanship. We believe in technology. We love a good story. And above all, we make the kind of pieces you’ll reach for today, tomorrow, and years from now.

"For over a decade, I worked in global technology. I supported leaders at the highest levels. Learned what it took to build something meaningful. Witnessed firsthand the ambition and grace of people shaping the future. Technology taught me to let an idea exist before trying to perfect it. Build it. Test it. Make it better.
My grandfather, José António Flores, was a painter. He used to say that everything starts with a line. I think about often. A line becomes a drawing. A drawing becomes an idea. An idea becomes something real.
But I also saw something missing. A luxury brand that felt as ambitious, curious and individual as the people wearing it. One that didn't just make you look successful, but made you feel it.
So I left the world I knew and built the brand I couldn't find - where everything comes together. Art. Technology. Portugal. Storytelling. A fashion house where stories become silk, clothing and objects.

CRAFTSMANSHIP
Our pieces start with a sketch. Pen on paper.
Each illustration is developed in our Lisbon studio, inspired by Portugal, memory, history and the world around us.
Then comes the making.
We work with skilled artisans to refine every piece, from the first sample to the final detail. Premium materials. Careful construction. The kind of quality you notice the moment you touch it.
We produce in limited quantities, because we believe some things should still feel special.
And because if everyone has it, what’s the point?
We don’t mass-produce.
We create pieces worth keeping.
